SUBETI TENTED CAMP IS SET ON A SCENIC RIDGE OF ROCKY OUTCROPS AND KOPJES OVERLOOKING PLAINS OF ACACIA WOODLAND. THE CAMP IS IDEALLY SITUATED IN THE MASWA GAME RESERVE with access to other prime wilderness areas, including the Southern Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Mwiba Wildlife Reserve. The game viewing is varied as off-road driving allows guests to get up close to game and walking safaris present a different experience altogether. The area offers a sense of exclusivity as guests share this pristine terrain with only a few others, away from the bustling tourist areas.

With its varied landscape, abundant wildlife, luxurious camp and unique activities, the area provides superb photographic opportunities.  The Big four, lion, leopard, elephant and Cape buffalo, can be found here along with many varieties of antelope to include the Thomson’s and Robert’s gazelles. Enjoy night drives in the neighbouring Mwiba Wildlife Reserve, a day trip to the Mangati tribe bomas in the nearby Makao Village along with a visit to the local school and shops for curios and traditional jewellery.
