Overview

Seba Camp, set in an ancient riverine forest, offers secluded accommodation overlooking a perennial lagoon. It has five well-appointed and spacious elevated tents, each with en-suite bathroom and private deck. Seba is family-friendly, complete with family villa with two interleading en-suite bedrooms, a built-in ‘tree-house’ and a kids’ swimming pool and sandpit. The dining area is set on a raised saligna deck with spectacular views. The minimum age for children is six years of age. 

Seba Camp - Standard Tents

There are six twin bed tents. The beds can be moved together to make a double bed. There is one twin bedded guide/pilot room.

Family tent number 4 has 2 bedrooms and a loft, sleeps a maximum of four guests . The Family tent has its own plunge pool, toys/game selection for children and two bathrooms.

Family tent number 8 has 3 bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of six . The Family tent has its own plunge pool, toys/game selection for children and two bathrooms.

Activities include day and night game drives, seasonal fishing and mokoro excursions on the waterways. The camp is named after Seba, one of the elephants historically released from nearby Abu Camp. A number of elephants that were released back into the wild have formed their own herd. The interaction between these and the wild herds in the area provides rich fodder for research teams from Bristol University in the UK. Guests can observe the researchers at work, often in close proximity to the elephant herds.
