The remoteness of the camp, coupled with its intimate size, make it a perfect setting for a personalized safari experience for small groups or private families. The Meru-style tents provide a luxurious yet authentic camping experience.

Saile Tented Camp sit within the Linyanti Concession above the ancient river bed of the Linyanti Marsh.

Saile Tented Camp is fit for private and personal safari experiences, and it can be booked for a minimum of 2 people travelling.

The tents are walk-in Meru-style tents, that are spacious in the interior (6x4m); and are furnished with comfortable twin beds and bedside tables, a hanging canvas wardrobe, luggage bench and sisal matting. En-suite bathroom facilities are fitted with a flush toilet and a zip-up door leading through to an open-air bucket shower, that offers excellent views of the stars at night.

The main area is made up of an open-sided canvas marquee that has been fitted with comfortable and stylish furniture: antique loungers, hammocks, large mirrors and small, stylish touches.

 Cuisine :

you will enjoy early morning breakfast before the first game drive and a full brunch with fresh meals on return, as well as afternoon tea and cakes, bar snacks and drinks with the sunset, followed by a 3-course dinner under canvas.

Eco-respect :

this camp operates with minimum technology, and no electricity is avalaible, yet light is provided through lamps in the tents. A large tin jug and basin are provided in the bathrooms and canvas wash basins on each private verandah.

Communications:

The camp can communicate by radio or satellite phone in case of emergency.
