Mzima House is the epitome of luxurious living, nestled on the beautiful Galu Beach.
Galu Beach is an intimate little paradise on the quiet shores of the Indian Ocean just 30Km south of Mombasa in exotic Kenya.
Our nearest airport is Ukunda, there are regular flights from Nairobi with either Fly540, Air Kenya or Safarilink. Mzima House’s beachside location ensures a gentle breeze and unforgettable views.

Mzima house is positioned around a large swimming pool, on an enormous plot, with only a couple of hundred yards of lush tropical garden and lawn between the house and the Indian Ocean.
The house has large rooms and tall ceilings, giving the place a light and airy feel. All rooms have direct access to the pool and veranda area, thus creating an indoor/outdoor living space with cross breezes that keep the house cool all year round.
Extensive outside galleries protect the indoors from glare and provide lounging spaces with splendid views over the pool, coconut palms and the Indian ocean in front.
Each of the five bedrooms is ensuite and all have incredibly comfortable double beds. There is air-conditioning, fans and mosquito nets in each of the rooms. The master bedroom has a double bathtub in the ensuite bathroom.
The staff are trained to meet the standard of any 5 star hotel. They include; 2 Chefs, waiters, house keepers, gardeners, a driver and 2 managers who are all there to cater for your every need.

Mzima Cottage
Mzima Cottage (sleeps 4 max) is a two bed-roomed front row guest cottage set in a spacious garden with spectacular views of the stunning pristine beach. This can be leased on its own, since it is self-contained or along with Mzima House.
The cottage has one double and one twin room, although the twin can be made into a double if required. Both bedrooms feature fans, mosquito nets and air conditioning. There is one shared bathroom.
The property also features a plunge pool and spacious open plan sitting room/ dining room. There is a covered veranda and a barbeque area that offers the opportunity for alfresco dining.
The house is furnished to a high standard and is fully staffed including cook.
