Opened in 2006, Clico Boutique Hotel is perfectly situated in the leafy and upmarket suburb of Rosebank in Johannesburg – South Africa. Centrally located to the “Joburg” city centre, high end business hubs such as Melrose and Sandton and metres away from the Rosebank Clinic, Clico’s location is convenience at your fingertips. Just 900 metres away from the Rosebank Gautrain station, the OR Tambo International airport is now only 20 “stress free” minutes away. Clico was established by Jeanette Schwegman, who wanted to cater for the travel-weary and discerning guest looking for that intimate experience by paying attention to all the important details. 

All your needs will be met within this tranquil 5-star establishment. Rates include a delectable full breakfast prepared by Clico’s in-house chef. We offer cuisine comprising daily seasonal menus which will be adjusted to your personal dietary requirements. Poised to accommodate upmarket corporate guests as well as leisure seeking tourists, this 60-year old Cape Dutch building is an engaging mix of old and new. The name “Clico” was inspired by Jeanette’s passion for champagne with her favourite being Veuve Clicquot.

Clico offers nine luxurious en suite rooms (6 queen and 3 king / twin bedded) which are beautifully appointed and spacious, furnished in warm earthy browns, creams and soft greens. Each room offers a mini-bar, extra length bed/s, a safe, flat-screen TV with DSTV, a desk-come-dressing table, air-conditioning and under-carpet heating. A selection of teas and bodum coffee is available in each room, with fresh milk. The bedrooms all open onto the garden or offer a balcony overlooking the pool. One room is wheelchair-accessible and another offers self catering facilities. Business services include telephones in the rooms, free wireless internet throughout the establishment and fax, scanning and photocopying facilities at reception.
